Fluoride, a Chemical Weapon for Spiritual Warfare?

"Truth is so hard to tell, it sometimes needs fiction to make it plausible."
Francis Bacon

Sometimes as a writer of science fiction and fantasy I have to depend on my imagination to come up with a good storyline. Of course the bad guys and the good guys have to be clearly defined. Usually the bad guys are some people, or humanoids, or beings with human qualities of some sort, that wish to exercise power over other people, or humanoids, or beings with human qualities of some sort. The good guys are people, et al., who wish to empower themselves and fend off the influence of the power seeking evil. In the telling of a good versus evil story it makes it interesting if there is a small group of good guys who realize that the bad guys are manipulating the innocent masses of people in horrendous ways. It then becomes incumbent upon the good guys to alert the populous to the manipulations, or at least to try to save the innocent even if they go unrecognized.

Here is an exercise in using the imagination. Let's pretend there was a race of beautiful humanoid creatures who lived with one foot in the material world and one foot in the spiritual world. For millennia these people have lived in peace and have built a virtual paradise through peace and cooperation. They have built wonderful cities and acquired a plethora of knowledge, or maybe they have learned to live in a wondrous harmony with nature. That would be nice, but not much to write about. Enter some being or beings, perhaps humanoid, perhaps some other species, perhaps from a completely different dimension, who have their own agenda. They are jealous of what the humanoid race has developed, or perhaps they see a weakness they can exploit. In any case they decide to use negative emotions like fear and jealousy to introduce this beautiful race to war.

The race is split into disparate groups. Languages becomes unintelligible between these groups. Differences are focused upon rather than similarities. Civilization is destroyed. The great cities are laid to waste. The race descends into survival mode, reverting to small groups and tribes just so they can eke out a living and try to prevent extinction. They are short lived, but the evil ones live a longer lifespan. Most knowledge is forgotten by the humanoid creatures, but the evil ones remember and use their knowledge to maintain control over the humanoids. They use them as slaves to do hard labor while they live in luxury. Then one day their agenda is accomplished and they leave. They appear to have simply vanished.

Ah, but there was a hierarchy to the humanoid slaves. There was a priest class that had some access to the evil ones. This priest class is the first to discover that they are gone, but that also gives them access to the knowledge the evil ones had written down. They decide to use that knowledge to become an elite ruling class and keep the rest of their fellow humanoids enslaved.

Now here comes the real test of the imagination. How do you keep the multitudes from discovering their true destiny? How do you keep them focused on the physical world and ignorant of their true spiritual nature? How do you keep them focused on fear and distrust instead of love and compassion? It might be easy at first, but as technology improves and populations grow communications get better. Knowledge becomes more easily obtained. It becomes harder and harder to keep ideas dangerous to the ruling elite from spreading.

Fast forward to modern times. That's where our story truly begins. A small cadre of the descendents of the elites have retained the ancient knowledge. They haven't let it out to the world, but there are many who through study and dedication have dug up evidence and surmised the truth. There are others who have done so through spiritual paths. There is a spiritual awakening happening, but these elitists don't want this awakening to take place. They don't want this humanoid race to evolve. How can they stop it? They have their media manipulations and consumerism and materialism to help them achieve this, but that is not enough. They must come up with a far more subtle and insidious method to keep the humanoids, who they consider cattle, in check. They look to chemical warfare.

They have discovered that the humanoids have a mechanism that, when activated, can help them communicate with the spiritual realm. We'll call this mechanism the pineal gland. Because ancient wisdom was lost to the masses, most of the humanoids had not been taught how to use this mechanism, but more and more were rediscovering this lost knowledge. The evil ones have to prevent too many of the humanoids from regaining this knowledge. When they discover that a chemical widely used in rat poisons can inhibit the function of the pineal gland, they decide to introduce this chemical into municipal water supplies. They sell putting rat poison into the water system by hiring a propagandist who makes the claim that small amounts of the stuff is good for teeth and therefore is good for the public health. We'll call this substance fluoride.

The ploy works and the public buys it. They actually start to demand that their local government poison their water. The propaganda takes hold until it becomes an accepted truth and anyone who says differently is labeled crazy. The fluoride even has other effects on the humanoids that are helpful to the evil elite who secretly rule the planet. For instance, the same substance was used in the death camps of a very evil, fallen empire to keep the prisoners docile.

It is up to those who are aware to continue to spread the truth even though they are ridiculed along the way. They keep speaking out and presenting their evidence everywhere they can, especially in places where freedom of speech is begrudgingly accepted by the powers that be. More and more people begin to believe them and eventually a movement builds to have the local governments stop poisoning the water. In the end, the voices of many become overwhelming and the powers that be are forced to stop adding the poison to the water. With that many start to heal and the function of the pineal gland is returned to those who care to use it. Now the spirits of the humanoids can evolve. Now they can start to rebuild the ancient, peaceful, prosperous society they had long forgotten.

I don't think that's a bad storyline. I think I could make an interesting novel out of it. Of course, this is just a fictionalized story. Nothing like that could ever happen in real life. In real life our political figures are only interested in the best for everyone concerned and would never allow moneyed interests to influence their decisions, especially when it comes to public health issues. You should just believe whatever it is government tells you and not worry your little head over such matters. You shouldn't question authority. You shouldn't do any research on your own or deeply look into any of these matters for yourself. You shouldn't worry about where authoritative organizations originally gained their funding. Just trust what they tell you. After all, aren't they so much smarter and more powerful than you? Of course they know what's best for you even better than you do. Isn't real life wonderful? It's so much better than fantasy.

The Fantasy of Government Protection

"How can an otherwise sane individual become so enamored of a fantasy, an imposture, that even after it´s exposed in the bright light of day, he still clings to it – indeed, clings to it all the harder? No amount of logic can shatter a faith consciously based on a lie." - Lamar Keene on why it was so easy for him to fool people who believed deeply in his ability to speak to spirits of the dead.

The purpose of our government, according to many, is to protect us. More specifically, our form of government, the so called representative republic so carefully crafted and established by the European settlers of the colonies that came to be known as the United States of America, was set up to protect smaller state governments from foreign intervention while honoring the individual liberties of the singular human being. Its powers were to be limited in scope. It was supposed to protect the little guy, the least powerful individual, against the most powerful individuals and organizations including other powerful governments. Its focus was to be on protecting individual rights from being violated by powerful special interest groups. This hasn't worked out too well, has it?

Government in general, and the federal government in particular, has a tendency to protect not the people, not individual rights, but the interests that serve them. Government serves the wealthy and influential because, well, they're wealthy and influential. Governments make laws that tend to protect the wealthy and influential and at the same time do harm to those who are not so wealthy and not so influential.

The evidence of this is all around us. It is on the nightly news. It is the bailouts protecting the big banks and the financial sector. It is Obamacare protecting the insurance industry. It is the supreme court protecting Obamacare. It is the EPA protecting BP and big oil. It is the drug war protecting the prison/industrial complex. It is the FDA and the AMA protecting big pharma, etc., etc., etc. All these federal agencies and others help to protect the big, multi-national corporations while harming the little guy either through enforcement of the laws created or by regulations making it financially impossible to compete with the big boys.

We can question why this has happened. The answers will likely be many and varied. We became too nationalistic in the 1940s in order to defeat our enemies overseas. We became too socialistic in the 1930s because of the economic downturn back then. A law was passed in 1913 that created a privately owned central bank commonly referred to as the Fed in the modern vernacular. The Supreme Court ruled that corporations are persons and entitled to the same rights as a person. Abraham Lincoln and the Republicans didn't want to honor the spirit of the constitution and allow states to secede when they felt the federal government had become too powerful and intrusive. John Adams signed the Alien and Sedition Acts. George Washington put down the Whiskey Rebellion.

In my view all these things helped to usher in the current environment we live under. Yes, even things that happened hundreds of years ago created ripples that still have effect in the modern age. Even though no permanent laws came out of the two older examples, we are still shown that even the smallest of governments wants to grow, wants to flex its muscles and tyrannize someone. Even in its infancy the most freedom oriented government the world had ever known was unfair to some of its citizens. Now we are living in a nation that imprisons more of its citizens than any other nation on earth. We are one of the most taxed people on the planet, and now with the new supreme court ruling on Obamacare we discover we are going to be taxed at an even higher rate. How can we continue to believe we are the freest nation on earth?

Our descent into the collectivist society we have become with the authoritarian government we have created did not happen overnight. It happened over the course of a couple hundred years or so as little by little the populace became less and less involved. They began to go along to get along. They stopped speaking out when laws didn't affect them directly. As long as they were in the majority and injustice wasn't visited upon them, they ignored unjust laws. So long as a law was aimed at someone else or "made sense" or didn't cost too much, it didn't matter to most if it violated the individual liberties of a few. They bowed to authority and let it have a little more power, let it get away with a little more tyranny. That's how the cancer of collectivism works, growing slowly at first and then speeding up in its later stages as it eats away at the body politic and works on killing its host. Now we are paying the price for our apathy. Now we just might begin to see just how brutal and controlling the authoritarians can get.

The problem the authoritarian collectivists seem to be having these days is that more and more people are catching onto their games. They're beginning to realize that any talk of the federal government protecting the individual is just fantasy. They're beginning to realize that the federal government isn't protecting them, it's harassing and even terrorizing them. It's herding them into a position they don't want to be in. It's doing everything in its power to hold them down while the mega wealthy sheer them for all they're worth.

They're beginning to understand the fear propagated by government. They can correlate that whenever global corporate interests or government wants something that public opinion is against, some newsworthy event takes place to help sway public opinion. They wanted the Patriot Act, 9/11 happened. They wanted a bailout and they threatened economic chaos. They wanted naked body scanners and there was suddenly an underwear bomber. Every time new gun laws are being debated a lone nutcase shooter suddenly pops up out of nowhere. How many times can something happen that's coincidental before people start to think maybe there's something more here than simple coincidence?

But if so many people are waking up, how is it they are able to continue to get away with their malfeasance? It could be that too many people still worship at the feet of the government god. Too many people still look to government to provide answers for problems that government created. Too many people still believe there is a significant difference between Republicans and Democrats. Too many people trust party politics. Too many people still believe some candidate for office is going to change things and turn it around for them. Too many people still believe we live in the best, freest nation on the face of this planet with the best possible political system and the fairest justice system and they are protected as long as they just keep their head down and don't say nothing to no one. Even when shown the facts and while all around them are shouting otherwise, these people want to believe in the fantasy and so they put their blinders on and continue to make excuses for government. These are the people who support the establishment, the status quo, and the system as it exists. This is why government can get away with so much criminal activity, because people would rather believe in a fantasy than face reality.

What can be done in the face of such denial? I'm not sure. I'd like to say ignore them. I'd like to say just walk away. I'd like to say just move on to more enlightened souls and forget about the debris that will be left floating adrift in the wake of a sinking ship of state, but somehow that doesn't seem right. I suppose all you can do is politely as possible explain your position and then stick with it. Keep pointing to examples of the government caring for the elite instead of the common folk. Sooner or later I think just about everyone is going to come to the understanding that they have been depending on the system rather than their own best judgment to get along in life.

Government doesn't care for you, it doesn't care for your family and it doesn't care for your friends unless it serves its needs to do so. You do care for yourself, your family and your friends. You can take care of those entities much better than government ever could. The best you can hope for right now is for government to simply leave you alone. The best that you can hope for is that they keep their control freak noses out of your business as much as possible. The best you can do is make it known that you wish to be left alone. The best you can do is stop asking the government for favors and start figuring out how to best take care of yourself and your own. The best you can do is withdraw your consent and help others determine that it is time for them to do the same.

Why the NWO Will Eventually Fail

In the world of conspiracy theories, the New World Order is a shadowy group of megalomaniacs hidden behind closed doors and plotting the enslavement of 99.99% of mankind or even the death of 90% of the humans currently living upon this blue globe. These people wish to secretly control all of mankind and bring about a one world government that they would run from behind the scenes. Basically, they want to make the childhood meme of "if I ruled the world" come true for themselves. They wish to have total domination and to have all bow before them, like they were the gods of old. In the real world, they aren't that shadowy and their secret desires aren't so secret anymore. They have been exposed to the light of day. All one has to do is open one's eyes and put away the fear in order to see.

There is a group of very wealthy families, or bloodlines, who have used their wealth since time immemorial to guide humanity in certain directions they wanted. They have hidden themselves from the impoverished masses while living in lavish villas away from the squalor of civilized cities' slums where people are often forced to use and abuse their neighbors just to eke by in life. By doing so they have completely lost touch with the rest of humanity and have no idea the kinds of challenges that modern life presents nor the psyches of the humans who have to deal with said challenges, but I believe that these self proclaimed elitists believe they know everything they need to know about the human beings they look down upon as inferior to themselves.

These families have been around for hundreds, if not thousands, of years. I believe they have been taught since childhood that they have certain rights none of the rest of us have. They have been taught that they are privileged above all others. They have been taught that they have a divine right to rule over humanity. They believe they are extremely special and can tell the rest of us what to do. They even have plans for us, and I don't believe they're good plans. They don't wish for us to be as wealthy and privileged as they are. In fact, they want to make sure we stay subjugated to their will. That is their New World Order, a world where they reign supreme and we feed on the crumbs they leave us, whether we like it or not.

They think they know human psychology. They think they have figured out how you work and how they can manipulate you. They think they can force us into a one world government where they will be in charge through their manipulations of want and fear. I believe they have underestimated us. I think they have underestimated the human spirit. I think they have underestimated the human capacity to innovate. More than that, I think they have underestimated the human capacity to understand what is truly happening behind the scenes, who is pulling the strings, and to adapt to that understanding.

It seems to me that the powers that be are trying to force the common folk into a violent confrontation. They have done everything in their power to bring this about. They manipulate elections so that only their corrupted puppets can compete. They manipulate the monetary system so that only they have any real wealth, leaving the ordinary folk with just enough to pay for their offerings, their century old energy technologies, their poisoned food, their overly expensive, barbaric treatments for disease, their drugs with side effects worse than the disease, their dumbed down media, their indoctrination education system, etc., etc., etc. They have taken away opportunity by overly regulating and monopolizing certain businesses to make sure only the wealthy can afford to enter the market and the poor cannot compete.

The very wealthy establishment truly seems to have us by the proverbial balls. They laugh at our efforts to bring about change which will benefit all of humanity. They scoff at populous candidates advocating individual freedom, calling them crazy rather than enlightened, and make it next to impossible for such ideas to get out to the masses via establishment media outlets. They literally laugh at protests such as the occupy movement as it protests corporate control and corruption. They usurp populous movements that gather too much support and use them to further their old political agendas with their old distrusted political parties. It truly seems as if they've wrapped it up, delivered it and now they merely need to open the package and the world is theirs.

Yet there is still something they lack. There is something they don't understand. They don't have empathy. They lack compassion. They seem incapable of love. It is these human emotions which create the beauty in humanity. They seem to think these things are our greatest weaknesses, but they are in truth our greatest strengths. Because those at the top, the establishment elite, are quite lacking in their ability to feel such emotions and act accordingly, sooner or later they will fail in their efforts to control mankind.

They have also lost their cloak of secrecy. Too many people recognize them and their machinations. They need secrecy because there's so many of us and so few of them. They still need our cooperation if their plans are to succeed. They need us to consent to their rule in order to make it legitimate in everyone's eyes. Their secrecy is gone, their plans are exposed for all to see, and many are protesting their rule and their plans. People are shouting for decentralization even as the elite seek further centralization.

I don't know about you, but I think most people are tired of war. I think most people are tired of ecological destruction. I think most people are tired of economic manipulation. I think most people are tired of political corruption. I think that most people are tired of fear based governance. I think people are tired of a federal government acting more like paranoid mobsters than enlightened statesmen.

These are the tools of the control freaks who wish more power. They use methods meant to spark your fear and paranoia to get you to consent to their rule. They use police state methods meant to keep you in fear to maintain that power when the people begin to figure out and protest their criminal rule. Withdraw consent. Let them know that you believe they are illegitimate and criminal. If you get really brave, refuse to pay taxes. Tell them why. Tell everyone why. When enough of the common folk do this, they'll get the idea. Perhaps then the power will revert back to the individual, where it belongs. Perhaps then the psychopaths will abandon politics and look for another venue where they can exercise their control freak nature.

Nine Lucky Ducklings

There's so much worry today, so many negative stories to be told, that one begins to wonder if anything good ever happens in this world. With all the death and destruction and disease and the economic turmoil in the world today it's no wonder these things capture the headlines in the mainstream news sources. "If it bleeds, it leads" is still a valid meme with the corporate media. With the wars, unrest and riots due to economic distress there is no shortage of bleeding. Yet there are good things that happen in the world, positive things that show us people still care and are full of compassion. My ex related to me such a story the other day which she was personally involved with and I'd thought I'd share it with you. Maybe the world we live in isn't so bad after all.

This story starts with a phone call. Deanna (my ex) received a phone call the other night from her sister Shell. She was asked to bring one of her animal cages to the parking lot of a local Target store. Deanna wants to know why, but Shell is so insistent and in such a tizzy that Deanna didn't really question her and just brought the cage.

It turns out that Shell wanted the cage for a duck. This duck had been walking across parking lot with a brood of chicks and nine of her ten ducklings had fallen through the grate of a storm drain. Shell and several other people, about eight or so, had decided to take it upon themselves to rescue the ducklings. They wanted to protect the mother duck while this was going on, so they were going to try to catch it and put it in a cage until they could get the ducklings to safety.

Their first problem was how to get the grate off. They had approached a law enforcement officer (LEO) for help, but he had told them there was nothing he could do. Undaunted, they went into the Target store and got permission from the store to remove the grate and rescue the ducklings. Some tried to pry open the grate with a crowbar while others were trying to catch the mother duck. They were not able to catch the duck as every time they got too near the duck would take off and fly in a circle a couple of times before landing far enough away from the people so that they weren't a threat to it. After a time it was decided that trying to catch the mother duck was useless and that they would just direct traffic around the duck so that it wouldn't get hurt while the operation was undertaken.

They could not get the lid off with a crowbar, no matter how hard they tried. They gave up on that idea and put their heads together to figure out another way. Finally they decided to call a tow truck. There were about ten of them, so they decided to each pay ten percent of the cost and therefore none of them was paying that much. The tow truck came and easily pulled the grate up. When the tow truck driver saw what the people were doing, he waived the chargers and refused to take payment. Yet another compassionate human being deciding to simply feel good about doing his part to help the helpless.

Now the people had the problem of how to get the ducklings out and where to put them where they'd be safe. Someone brought out a cardboard box. The LEO actually decided to loan the people a net that they could use to fish out the ducklings. Deanna informed me that if the officer hadn't done so, they would have gone into Target and purchased such a net. They started fishing out the ducklings and putting them in the box.

While all this was going on, the mother duck was naturally wandering about nervously quaking and keeping an eye on what these humans were doing. She was very concerned about her babies. Shell maintained a vigil and directed traffic around her so the mother duck wouldn't get hurt. While she got some dirty looks and some not so nice responses from some of the drivers, many of them simply followed her directions and found a different way to get around in the parking lot. One woman even came up to the crowd and informed them that she was angry at first for being directed around, and then when she found out what they were doing she was sympathetic to their actions.

During all this time, the Target employees were also very supportive. They were bringing out snacks and things to the people saving these little ducklings and quite curious as to how everything was proceeding. It was, after all, quite an endeavor to undertake.

After the ducklings were all in the box and the grate on the storm drain replaced, there was a discussion on what would be the safest way to unite the mother duck and her ducklings. There were several nature areas nearby, but they had yet to capture the mother and didn't know if she'd follow or not. Before they could decide, the LEO, who had claimed he couldn't help but had spent the whole time watching the operation, took the box and dumped the ducklings out right there in the parking lot. The mother proceeded to waddle across the parking lot toward a very busy street. Across that street there was a park with a pond.

The people followed. As the ducks reached the busy street the people formed a line to stop traffic. They wanted to make sure nothing tragic happened at the last second that would make their efforts seem for naught. Two people escorted the ducks until they were safe in the pond and the rest made sure the traffic was stopped until ducks and humans alike were all safely back where they belonged. All in all, about two hours had elapsed since Deanna had received her phone call. That was how nine lucky ducklings were rescued from a terrible fate and nature served by humanity.

I hope you have enjoyed this positive story. I hope it leaves you with a good feeling in your heart. I have in the past written about the beauty of humanity. I have written about empathy and compassion and how so many people embody such emotions. This story is an example of what I've talked about.

It is an amazing and wonderful thing for me to know that ten people can come together, take time out of their busy lives, overcome obstacles and even spend their own hard earned funds to help a helpless little animal rescue her babies. They could have given up and turned their backs on their fellow creatures, but they stuck with it and saw it through to the end. It gives me hope that in the future, if the worst does come to pass and the world economy does collapse, that human love and compassion will win the day and we will come together as a species to help each other out. It gives me hope that with love and compassion, we can overcome any obstacle.

Corporate Governance and Monsanto's Bee Genocide

One criticism of libertarians claims that they are too pro corporation. As one who still self identifies as a libertarian (small l) despite the continuing barrage of insulting rhetoric and misconceptions coming from both Democrat and Republican sources, I take exception to that critique. I am not pro corporation at all, but I am pro business. The difference being a corporation is the creation of a government and is given privileges and protections over individuals, a business is the creation of an individual to provide goods and services to other individuals and it is its privilege to serve the individuals who are its customers. Businesses are the cornerstones to innovation and human advancement, corporations are a danger to human endeavors and individual freedom, especially when given the power to govern.

It is no secret, in my opinion, that elite multinational corporations have usurped the power to govern in the Western world. All one needs to do is look at the connections made between mega corporations, national central banks, and government leaders and officials who are selected (no longer elected) to sit in the highest national offices. It is money and special interests that rule not only in Washington, DC, but all over the Westernized world now. They use their money and privileges to keep the little guys from competing with their cartels and monopolies.

There was a time when we were moving in the right direction. There was a time when the people of the west had supposedly freed themselves from the tyranny of monarchs and an oppressive ruling class. For a while in the United States of America, opportunity flourished and prosperity reigned. The federal government was formed to help protect the little guy, the individual, from the power and might of the rich and powerful. Oh sure, it was never perfect and there were flaws in the system, but the principles of liberty were established and we were headed in the right direction. We took a wrong turn somewhere along the way. At one time, corporations were ruled to be persons with the same rights as individuals by the supreme court of the United States. That, in my opinion, was a huge error in judgment.

Fast forward to today. We are in a big mess. The world stands on the brink of an economic collapse that will make the great depression look like a boom time. The saber rattlers in the United States seem to want a war with Iran which could quite possibly start the next world war and a possible nuclear conflagration. Day after day we are worried about the damage being done to our environment, the environment we need to protect in order to survive. What are people doing about it? Many are looking to big government to protect them. But big government got us into this mess. What does big government do? It doesn't protect the little guy, the individual and his rights, instead it protects the monopoly privileges of the big international corporations. This doesn't solve problems, it adds fuel to the fire.

As a case in point I present the story of an Illinois beekeeper, Terrence Ingram. He seems like a pretty intelligent and successful individual. He owns four businesses. He has been a beekeeper for 58 years, longer than I've been alive. He has been teaching beekeeping classes for 40 years. It seems like he should know a thing or two about beekeeping. In fact, I would suspect that in a court of law he could be called upon as an expert witness in a lawsuit about bees. So why is it that the Illinois Dept. of Agriculture (IDofAG) snuck unto his property and stole his beehives back in March?

According to IDofAG they did this because his beehives had a highly contagious disease called foulbrood. According to him, if there was any disease present it was the disease known as chilled brood. That disease can be caused as an unintended consequence due to the use of Monsanto's Roundup (for details please read the story at the above link). So, who are you going to believe, a man with 58 years experience beekeeping, or bureaucrats from IDofAG who simply do as they are told without question and believe what they are told by questionable sources?

Mr. Ingram's beehives were stolen three weeks before he had a hearing. Conveniently for the state, the bees were lost along with any other evidence they may have had. Certainly one might say that Mr. Ingram got off easy because of the loss of the bees, but what if the state and IDofAG didn't really want to prosecute Mr. Ingram? What if they merely wanted the hives destroyed? If so, then they achieved their goal. Why would they want to destroy the beehives of such a man? Well, it could have something to do with the fifteen years of research this man had independently undertaken that shows that the recent bee die offs and the mysterious colony collapse disorder so many have been talking about recently have everything to do with genetically modified crops and Monsanto's Roundup.

In one of his statements Mr. Ingram claimed he had a queen that had survived three years of spraying and may have developed a genetic resistance to Roundup. He had planned to use her progeny to create other queens to see if he could make more genetically resistant bees. I wonder if IDofAG knew that. I wonder if Monsanto knew that. If not, and they destroyed the bees, then they may have destroyed a chance to solve a problem they created. But then, government never really wants to solve problems they create unless the solution creates other problems that will help them achieve more power.

Face it, corporations like Monsanto own our governments. Monsanto owns Illinois agriculture. They do as they please and anyone who defies them will pay. It doesn't matter if they poison the food with their chemicals. It doesn't matter if they cause serious and deadly diseases in humans with their genetic manipulations. No one is going to do anything about it. Government won't even take the simple step of requiring genetically modified food to be labeled as genetically modified. Thanks a lot Rand. They don't want you to know what you're eating. Powerful corporations own the state and it doesn't matter what you think, or whether or not you're in the majority.

In this case, Monsanto's ownership of the Illinois Department of Agriculture has cost a man his beehives. But more than that, it has cost all of humanity. It possibly could lead to the collapse of a huge section of our food chain. Already nature has answered Monsanto's genetic modifications with some modifications of its own. Super weeds and super bugs have already adapted to the poisons created by man and now threaten to decimate crops even more than they had been in the past. Yet does Monsanto stop using their dangerous toxins? No. Instead they try to cover up and disappear evidence that their products are creating hazards to mankind and nature. Instead they use their buddies in government to strong arm those who would expose them. It is this type of fascistic marriage of government and private corporations that is the most dangerous and damaging to humanity.

Who is going to be held accountable? The corporate executives? I think not. How many corporate executives went to jail for the gulf oil spill? How many are serving life sentences for the deaths of those eleven men on that oil rig in the gulf? How many of Monsanto's executives will go to jail for stealing Mr. Ingram's bees and perhaps a shot at developing a bee that could survive Monsanto's toxins? How many of Monsanto's executives will go to jail for poisoning and perhaps causing cancers and other horrible diseases in those who eat their supposedly safe genetically modified foods?

How many executives are ever held accountable? How many board members of these elite corporations? How many owners and executives of central banks worldwide will end up in jail for causing the economic hardships we are still feeling the effects of and have yet to see the end of? How many of them will be held accountable for the human suffering they have caused? My guess would be zero.

Will the politicians be held accountable? Not likely. They have limited immunity. They have plausible deniability. They are the biggest culprits of them all and yet they skate away Scott free when the hammer comes down. They are the biggest Mafia, legalizing their theft of hard earned money while pocketing the gifts of lobbyists and campaign contributors. When they walk away from their political offices they do so as millionaires with pensions that you and I can only dream of.

No, I am not pro corporations. In fact, I believe if we are to have a federal government at all, then it should govern and police only the corporations. There should be no limited liability. Liability should fully rest on the executives that run a corporation. Any monies awarded in lawsuits should come from their pockets. Any negligence should be their responsibility. They should be personally held accountable for any life they might destroy with their avarice and lust for power. They should always feel the hot breath of competition breathing down their necks, always be ready to adapt or fail in the marketplace. If they are to reap great rewards, then they should have to take great risks.

The federal government, on the other hand, should protect the weak from the very powerful and wealthy. It should protect individual rights, not corporate privilege as it does today. If we are to have such a government, then those who have been involved with corporations should not be allowed to govern or create laws. Those who have taken money for personal gain from corporations should not be allowed to govern or create laws. If it is found that they have done so while in office they should be subject to criminal prosecution. What is and what should be are two very different things.

I think it will take some hard work to affect real change in this nation. It will take protests. It will take lobbying efforts. It will take an awakening of the masses that is long overdue. It will take people getting involved where before they were content to sit it out and go along to get along. It will take people like you and me telling everyone the truth as we see it and letting those at the top know that we know what they've done. Let them know that we know what they're up to. Let them know that we will not let them get away with it. Let them know that their secrets are out for the world to see. Resistance is victory. If we just keep pecking away a little at a time, eventually we will topple the elite and establish a more free and prosperous society.

Healthcare Insurance and Who Really Controls the Supreme Court

Once again, the Supreme Court of the United States of America has made a terrible decision. Are you surprised? You shouldn't be. They have a history of making very poor decisions. Sure, they make some good, constitutionally sound decisions, but every once in a while they make decisions that make one scratch one's head. The recent decision on the personal mandate on so called Obamacare is such a decision. It has left more questions than answers. It has widened a divide that has been growing since this poorly worded and even more poorly thought out legislation was passed.

There were many who thought that a reversal of this legislation was in the bag. They were hopeful this unconstitutional, job killing, business ending burden on the American people would be struck down. That hope was killed much like the hope that Obama would actually bring viable positive change to this country died in less than a year after he was elected. But, as I said, the decision of the Supreme Court did not surprise me. What did surprise me is who sided with those who think government can dictate to individuals what they can and cannot buy in the marketplace. Chief Justice Roberts, who was supposed to be loyal to the Constitution, has wiped out years of principle and shown that he no longer has any fealty to that document.

I wonder about Justice John Roberts' change of heart. Could he have been paid off? Could he have been somehow blackmailed? Could he have been threatened? Could powerful entities have threatened his family? Could his decision to help shred the Constitution be politically motivated? Could he be under pressure by powers greater than his to destroy the spirit of the Constitution and the founding documents? Why him? Why not one of the other so called "conservative" justices that would be more likely to lean toward socialistic devices? Is there some greater plan here to make Obama's insurance scheme (designed by Romney) look more acceptable to conservatives?

Is my paranoia showing through again? Have I stepped over some line by asking such questions? Why is it so many are so scared to investigate such questions? We all know that behemoth international corporations have taken over governments and are maneuvering to destroy all competition, right? Insurance companies are some of the richest, most powerful corporations in the world, right? Are we in denial as to who is really in control here? Do we really believe that the Supreme Court is going to side with individuals with so little power and protect their rights? Not when there's this much money and power at stake.

Let's take a closer look at what the majority said. They made the claim that Obamacare was constitutional because it was a tax, not a mandate. Well, that makes me scratch my head. In the first place the whole Obamacare debacle was not supposed to be a tax. It was supposed to be something to help the poor afford healthcare. It is anything but that. It was supposed to be something to force corporate insurance companies to cover expensive procedures so that people wouldn't go bankrupt when they got ill. It doesn't do that either. It is a boon for the insurance companies. In fact, the insurance companies wrote the law. People who are depending upon this law and the government to take care of them when they get older and come down with cancer or diabetes or heart disease or some other end of life condition are in for a rude awakening when they go to cash in. This is not a tax, it's a mandate that penalizes you if you try to pay a doctor directly for his services, or choose to pursue a natural cure rather than the AMA sanctioned treatment. It is a mandate that forces you into their system and could ultimately kill you.

In the second place, what exactly is a tax if not a mandate? Are the judges saying that this tax is voluntary? Is it voluntary like the income tax was supposed to be where you go to jail if you voluntarily decide not to participate, or is it voluntary like the Social Security tax where one finds it nearly impossible to find a job or participate in society in general if they voluntarily decide not to participate? If so, then why are the fees, fines and penalties put in there if you choose not to participate? If this is a tax, then it should be an unconstitutional tax. Regardless of the constitutionality of this kind of program in terms of the word of the law, it most certainly should be struck down when considering the spirit of the Constitution, the founding documents, and the principles which are the solid foundations upon which this nation was built.

Of course the judges on the Supreme Court hardly ever consider the spirit of the Constitution or the other founding documents. They twist the words of those documents into something that benefits the corporate interests that own the government. In this case it's the very wealthy insurance companies who stand to make billions when people decide to buy crappy insurance they can't afford rather than pay the government thousands in fines they can't afford for not having any insurance. It's a sick collectivist scheme that steals money from most people at a time of economic turmoil when they need it most for other more immediate concerns.

The Supreme Court decision has once again divided the populace rather than uniting them. Of course this could be part of the plan. I even heard the suggestion that Chief Justice Roberts flipped to the other side as a political ploy to raise the ire of conservative Republican voters in an effort to get Romney elected. I don't think Romney is the right man to repeal Obamacare as it is his baby in the first place, but the suggestion was nonetheless interesting and does make sense in a twisted way. If that's the case then the Chief Justice's actions have risen to the level of treason and the blood of the first people who die due to "unintended" consequences of Obamacare should be on his hands.

I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for Congress to repeal Obamacare. We have all seen just how much they listen to us when they decided to bailout the "too big to fail." They don't listen to us. They listen to their bosses with the money. Don't forget, the insurance companies are part of the financial sector that is supposedly "too big to fail." The only hope we have is to stop obeying.

Certainly, the states could start exercising their tenth amendment rights and nullify the federal law, but I doubt much of that will happen. A couple of states have made some noise to that effect, but they more or less back down when the feds flex their muscles. It is up to us to not consent. It is up to us to simply ignore the law and do business directly with health practitioners. It is up to us to refuse to pay the fines when they are levied. It will be up to grand juries to refuse to indict and regular juries to refuse to convict those who are accused of not having health insurance. The people will have to reverse this monster of collectivism on their own, just like everything else, because neither the politicians nor the judges are going to do so.

The funny thing about all this is I suppose I should be happy about this ruling. I am, after all, a very poor man who remains unemployable and has to scratch by as an unappreciated author/blogger. This law was meant to help people like me. I have to laugh because I realize something. Politicians serve one class, the corporate elite. Judges serve that same class. That's how it's been for millennia. That's how the royalty of old kept power. They never have and never will serve the economic class I currently find myself in.

This nation was established in an effort to form a system that would protect the smallest minority, the individual, from such a powerful ruling class. When you see a law such as Obamacare upheld by the Supreme Court you should know in your heart of hearts that such protection no longer exists. Neither will laws like The Patriot Act and the NOAA be overturned when they are challenged. Face it folks, the individual is not protected by government, corporations are. Now they are protected against the people. Now they have been given the power to tax the people when the people don't want to do business with them, at least according to the Supreme Court. If that doesn't make them part of the government, I don't know what does. Your rulers, who can impose laws and taxes upon you, are no longer elected, they are now officially those who sit on the board of directors for international corporations.
